Yes, there are many pediatricians that work in hospitals. Most children's based hospitals are filled with pediatricians. Most doctorates for this take approximately 10-12 years total.

Yes, they work in hospitals. They generally go to University for 8, sometimes more, depending on if they want to specialize in anything, then you add a couple more years.

It takes roughly 13-14 years of schooling and trianing to become a doctor and of course they can work in hospitals... kids have emergencies too.
