A guy is in need of a haircut. Wouldn't you know the small town he's driving through has two barbers. He looks in the first barber"s window and see's a mess all over, papers and hair all over the place and the place is trashed. The barber's hair is cut horribly; all messy and uneven. Sign says haircuts $5.
He goes to the 2nd barber where its beautifully maintained and super clean. The barber has a great looking haircut. Sign says haircuts $5.
Riddle: Where does the guy go for his haircut..and WHY?

The first barber. The reason, his saloon is very untidy with hairs all over the place. Naturally the people in the town prefer him so they come to his saloon. Secondly, there are only two barbers who are in that town and each can only rely upon the other for a haircut. So if the hair of the first barber is not properly cut, that means the job of the second barber is horrible.
I suggest also you have a hair cut in the first barber's shop if you go to that town.

Hmm, I have heard this riddle before, except it involved Dentists.
Anywho, I would of course go to the barber who had a horrible hair cut and messy shop. Just think about it, there are only two barber shops in town. So when this "messy barber" needs to get his hair cut, where do you think he has to go?? The really clean barber shop, and apparently the guy did a horrendous job. Why would I want someone to do that kind of a hack job to my hair?? And to take this a step further, obviously when the "clean and organized barber" needs a hair cut, apparently he has to go to the "messy barber's" shop. And this guy's hair is cut great. Need I say more??

He either goes to the bad barber place because they have to cut each other's hair, or he goes into the good barber because he thinks the good barber cuts his own hair.

'this has good to be the funniest riddle ever he goes to the one with the messy hair because the one with the nice clean place had to cut his hair because he cant cut his own. in other words they have to cut each others hair(the ''messy;'' barber did a good job on the clean one, the ''ckean'' barber did a bad jod on the dirty one

I don't know where he went, but I would go to the first.

He is to busy cutting hair to clean his shop and worry about other things. Also, the second barber cut his hair.

The second barber had time to clean his shop because he has no business. . .

of route, 2 barbers in a small city...the scrubby barber shrink the tidy barber's hair. yet your wording is off...meant to be: you're in a small city, one with in reality 2 barbers. between the barbers has a nasty haircut -- there are lengthy strands of hair in some places and bald patches in others. His competitor, on the different hand, seems large. no longer one hair is out of position. Which do you pick?
