Me and my boyfriend wernt "together" at the time but we did have an emotional attachment. He took a guy back to a mutual friends house and none of our friends tried to discourage him. Infact they said "you're not together he will get over it". Then the next week they were all telling me how bad they thought it was! They clearly didnt care how i was going to feel. Can i ever forgive them for not being there for me when i needed them? My boyfriend realized he was in the wrong and we did not talk for a while but were together now and working through it. I just dont trust my friends. Do u think i should trust them or burn my bridges with them once and for all?

How do you know that your friends encouraged him? Did they tell you that themselves? Maybe it's not true. You should talk to your friends and ask why they would do that.

You are willing to "work through it" with the guy that TRULY betrayed you yet you are willing to burn bridges with friends that didn't try to stop him. You're asking others if you should trust your friends. Trust them to keep your BF from sleeping around? I'm sorry I'm using so much sarcasm but jeez!!! Worry about trusting the one that could give you STDs instead of focusing your anger on the wrong people.

wow you really have some mixed up ways of thinking. Cheating is cheating and once a cheater always a cheater. Your friends aren't really friends or they would not have encouraged this behavior. Sounds to me like you just really need to grow up.

I'd say that it might be best to leave them alone for a while. It appears your ex isn't the only one with lessons to learn.
