There's only ONE TRUE FAITH, that of the LORD Jesus Christ, One Baptism, as is mentioned in Galatians 3:27...For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

One faith - "Kath-holon" - "according to the "whole". Undivided - the Church - filled with the Holy Ghost at Pentecost.

One Lord: Jesus Christ - God the Son - Second Person of the Holy Trinity

One Baptism: The one true method of becoming "born again" and made a member of the Body of Christ - the Church - of which Jesus Christ is the head and all Baptized persons are the members.

It means that Paul was striving to get the believers in Ephesus to live in unity and harmony and not fall into divisiveness like the church in Corinth. The "one baptism" part refers to the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--Jews or Greeks, slaves or free--and all were made to drink of one Spirit.

As to there being only one true church that is correct. It doesn't exist behind denominational signs where there are going to be those who are truly saved and those who are mere professors of the Christian faith. The true church is the spiritual body of born again believers.

1 Peter 2:5 you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

That there is only one way. According to what the WORD, who is Jesus Christ, the Word made Flesh. Faith only in Jesus, one Lord, who is Jesus with being baptized as Jesus commanded, as a proclamation to the world of your faith and love in Jesus Christ.

One Faith certainly means just that, however, you will have to tangle with the over 1,200 different religions in the US alone and that figure is from 1989.

One Lord speaks of Christ and his position as Head of the Congregation as well as King of God's Kingdom.

One baptism is in regards to the Christian baptism one undergoes when he or she disowns him or her self and dedicates their life to the doing of God's Will.
Christianity then is "The Way" of life as the Apostle Paul spoke of true Christianity.

Well, I've been asking myself the same question lately too...
The thing is, people say"I know the Bible says this, but I believe that". It's kind of like they think that God had that put there just for kicks or something. My Bible says that ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16,17.

The problem is carnality!!!!!!!!!!! Paul also says in 1Corinthians 3:1-3 this"And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?"

I think that says it all. One says that "I'm of this one or that one", and forget the Bible all together. While they are fighting over the laws and trying to live a "good life" without the help of God's Holy Spirit or God's word, other people are dieing and going strait to Hell. If we would truly get back to studying and applying the Word of God, then I think we would see the anointing of Acts 2:1 again, and other people in the world would either flock to Christians or want to kill them like they did then.

Jesus is addressed as “Lord” contained in the 4 Gospels, truly usually in Luke and John. contained in the first century C.E., the call became one among recognize and courtesy, equivalent to “Sir.” (John 12:21; 20:15, Kingdom Interlinear) In Mark’s Gospel the time period “instructor,” or Rab?bo?ni, is used more suitable in various cases in addressing Jesus. (evaluate Mark 10:fifty one with Luke 18:40-one.) Even Saul’s question on the line to Damascus, “who're you, Lord?” had this same familiar experience of polite inquiry. (Acts 9:5) yet as Jesus’ followers got here to understand their carry close, it truly is glaring that their use of the call “Lord” expressed a lot more suitable than elementary recognize. because of his faithfulness to the point of an ignominious death on a torture stake, Jesus became resurrected and given the optimal advantages. He then entered into his lordship contained in the heavens. Jesus Christ’s lordship is specially different lordships, and it is going to proceed on into the hot global. (a million Timothy 6:15) He became exalted to “a more suitable position” and given “the call it truly is above another call” so as that easily everyone could renowned “that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the daddy.” (Philippians 2:9-11) do a touch study, its no longer a ludicrous question

To me it clearly says that we (all religions) honor the same God. Thus, there is one faith, one Lord, one baptism. I believe the Holy Spirit lives in and guides ALL of us who choose to be guided by him, as evidenced to me by the following verses: 4 (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.)

I agree completely. I believe there is one true church among all the denominations of church goers and people of faith, and that is the true Bride of Christ.
