Is there any day that honors soldiers that are currently serving, or specific branches of the military? What does Memorial Day / Veterans Day mean to you?

Armed Forces Day..celebrates all active duty personell
Marine Corps Birthday celebrates all Marines
The other Holidays are for mourning and honoring those fallen vets that serve and protect our country

Armed Forces Day. August 31

Memorial Day = honor those who have passed away.
Veteran's Day = honor those who are still alive.

The various branches have their special days also, but none are national holidays like the two listed above.
