I'm in seventh grade and he asked me over msn messenger but if you dont have that shove a note in her locker saying will you go out with me check yes or no thats cute every girl loves that. :)

My grandson is 12. When he says he has a girlfriend and he is 'going out' with her it just means they sit together at lunch, occasional phone call, or meeting up at the school dance. So, is that what you mean or do you have money and Mom or Dad to provide transportation to take her out for an ice cream? Maybe just ask her if she is going to the next school dance and would she like to go with you? Most 12 year old girls don't really date yet. If she says she can't date yet, ask her if she can meet you there. Do not get discouraged. Keep asking (different girls, also) to get the practice. Don't take it as rejection - girls are gitty (silly and bashful) for the next couple of years. Talk to her when you are alone - not in front of her friends. Keep practice asking. We used to write notes in school - don't do that! It's embarrassing when the teacher reads it out loud to the whole class! Good luck!

OMG i am in the 7th grade and i am a girl that wants a guy to ask me out like this, He comes up to me and talks to me and then he says i like you and then girl says something and then the guy says would you like to go to the movies with me friday. PS do this in private not in front of a crowd so if she says no you would not be embarressed and if she says um she won't be embarresed.

(in high school now)
seventh graders dont exaclly "go out"

Being a girl, I'm going to tell you what I like. I want a boy who is nice. Don't rush into asking. Make sure the time is right and she is not in a bad mood. Ask her alone and not in front of people. Ask her nicely and be SERIOUS!!! Girls hate it when boys act like fools when they mean business!!

Sry to tell you this, but you just gotta do it. Say hi and casualy talk to the girl, then pop the question. Usualy, they'll be like whoa and wow and say yes :)
