Godiva. Any time I give chocolates to someone I buy Godiva Chocolates and get the best compliments ever. I like their truffles and I am not even much of a chocolate lover. So, they have to be good to entice me.

You have got to try a Dove chocolate. I know it sounds "regular", but the little chocolates that you can get in a bag like Snickers or whatever are so good. The chocolate is so creamy and smooth. You can get them with caramel fillings or other things.

Ghirardelli chocolate is really good and Russel Stover is good. I'm kinda old fashioned and like Hershey's chocolate, though. Go figure.

Mainstream? It would have to be Godiva...hands down. However, there are tons of small, local chocolatiers that have great chocolates and confections.
