Yes it can be, if you want to know more about it, you should read: Toma Tells It Straight With Love.
As far as the effects, everyone will describe it different, a common description would be it makes you feel a little calmer, maybe slower, and of course there's the "munchy" side effect, (meaning some say it makes them feel hungry), some feel a bit paranoid.

Marijuana addiction has not been deemed fatal, but this doesn't mean that marijuana addiction isn't extremely damaging. Marijuana addiction causes many problems. Marijuana addiction does much damage in the life of the person addicted to marijuana, along with the people who care about the person. The main reason that marijuana addiction is damaging is due to the mental effects that it has on its abuser. The person suffering from marijuana addiction may not even know they are addicted. They might think that their marijuana addiction is just a bad habit or not even that strong. They might think that they are using marijuana recreationally when the disease of marijuana addiction is slowly taking over the person's life.

Marijuana is not physically addicting. But this does not let users off the hook. Just because a drug is not physically addicting doesn't mean that it is not addicting in any capacity. It is by far one of the most addicting drugs on the market when thought about as emotionally and mentally addicting.

There are two ways of being addicted to marijuana, and they are almost inseparable. They are the emotional marijuana addiction and mental marijuana addiction. These are practically impossible to be found separately in one marijuana addict.

Emotional marijuana addiction is the more powerful of the two. The reason for its power lies within the addict's emotional well-being. What occurs when an addict inhales the marijuana is they are placed in a euphoric state. Once they are placed in this state their marijuana now controls their emotions. If they are "happy it is because of the marijuana". Is something they might think to themselves. What this begins is the cycle of getting high to become happy and when they come down and begin to feel less than happy they might use again. They will continue this cycle until their emotions are completely ruled by marijuana. This is emotional marijuana addiction. And what makes this form stronger is that when the addict tries to get sober they will feel very depressed. This depression might drive them to use again.

Mental marijuana addiction is simpler and less powerful. What happens is a logical progression that marijuana enhances their life. It is a lie that they tell themselves. This lie becomes stronger until they no longer can tell reality from their own perception. When this happens the addict is in trouble.

No it is not addictive. Those who say it is are either ignorant, or have addictive personalities (eating, sex, alcohol, tobacco etc.).
What happens right after I use, I can move. The pain in my body is there but doesn't bother me so much. My migraines subside. I have had no seizures with this. My fingers that are deforming do so and I do not feel the pain so intensely.
It calms me down so I am not running a hundred miles and hour and fall because my legs do not work so well.
Some people smoke to much and have memory loss. Since my head got cracked open and needed to be stapled up I do not remember so well anyway.
If you choose not to take medications for your illness's then don't. To take medication is everyones right to choose and should not be regulated by any government or the person put in jail for 30 years making the tax dollars go for there medical bills.

Marijuana impairs reaction time, motor coordination and visual perception. This can affect one's ability to operate heavy machinery or motor vehicles.

With regular use, marijuana has been shown to decrease virility of sperm for up to three months. For women, it can decrease fertility by damaging ova (eggs).

It's like lobster is addicting. Chocolate is addicting. Porn can be addicting. But could you get through the day without it ? Yes. It's not addicting in the sense that you'd vomit without it.

The problem is it brings you into contact with people who sell other addicting stuff, that you'd probably be better off not knowing about.

YES IT IS ADDICTING, NOT LIKE CRACK OR EVEN CLOSE. IT TAKES A LONG TIME OF STEADY SMOKIN, BUT YOU WILL GET ADDICTED MENTALLY , I KNOW 1ST HAND. THERE ARE WITHDRAWL SYMPTOMS FROM LONG TERM USE, LIKE SLEEPLESSNESS AND INSOMNIA, AND HEADACHES. TO BE HONEST THOUGH I THINK IT IS MUCH EASIER TO GET ADDICTED TO CIGARRETTES. DO A GOOGLE SEARCH ON DETOXING FROM MARIJUANA AND YOU WILL FIND CREDIBLE ANSWERS. DON'T LISTEN TO HALF OF THE YOUNG FOOLS THAT THINK THEY KNOW EVERYTHING.

no. it's not addictive.
and it's not scary, although i know some people who get really paranoid.
you watch tv and talk about stupid stuff.
right after you smoke...you basically want to eat something or take a nap.
then you're fine.

and the wisdom cube can obviously cut and paste but has nothing to say about it really.

check out the marijuanalogues. it's hilarious.

crack is whack! pot is not!
