Most Wiccans have their own book of shadows that they make themselves. It is a book full of spells and other useful stuff.

there are some authors that has their own BOS published.. but a BOS should be your own.. The BOS came from when christianity came about and the witches had to practice in the shadows of the darkness. instead of talking about their rituals they wrote them down for others to read and to even be passed down.. Each coven has their own BOS, Most solitary wiccans/pagans/witches make their own BOS.. It is also known as the book of secrets.. You can write your own spells, rituals, chants, or any other info you think would or could be used.. The BOS should be a book that you use and only you or the ones that you practice with use.. not for everyone elses eyes.. You can find a BOS in a book store.. But dont count on it being a real BOS...

If you're talking about what Wiccans refer to as a Book of Shadows, there is no single Book of Shadows. Each coven or individual has their own (although in the case of covens the BoS is generally copied by initiates and thus passed down through the lineage).

You will find published resources labelled as Books of Shadows, but you have to keep in mind that none of them are univerally applicable to all of Wicca. While solitary practitioners may share the contents of their BoS's with each other, a coven's BoS's contents is generally oathbound and will not be released to anyone who has not been initiated into that lineage. Material occasionally sneaks out, but such things are the exception rather than the norm.

The Wikipedia article on the BoS is (for once) not a bad source of information on the subject:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Book_of_Shadows

And a Google search for "Book of Shadows" will turn up boatloads of material... I can't vouch for how good it will be, however.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to email me.

Why would you be looking for someones book of shadows anyway? If this pertains to your own beliefs then you have your own and would know that it is very private information for your eyes only. We do however pass our BOS down if our sibling or siblings choose to follow our path.

Whose book of shadows are you looking for?
It's akin to a diary and it has to do with one's personal spiritual workings in wicca and witchcraft.
