I've lost 45 lbs. in 5 months just be eating right and exercising. No junk food, and 5 small meals a day. If I was really hungry at night I would eat fat free popcorn. Don't starve yourself and don't take diet pills it will mess up your metabolism and make you gain weight.

The South Beach Diet is great. It teaches you how to eat the right foods, and it will help you lose all the weight you want. I have lost abotu 20lbs on it and I have been on it for about 2.5 months. It's not so much a diet, but a way to teach yourself the right way to eat and the right way to be healthy and lose weight and to keep the weight off.

weight watchers has a lot of good practical advice- my wife lost 100 pounds that way... After trying all the fads- Atkins, South Beach, Zone, fasting, Jenny Craig (seriously, what kind of zombie would go on one brand of overpriced prepackaged food for the rest of their life?) - this is the one she stuck to for two years now.

Problem is the "miracle diets" are not healthy for the long term, and when you go off them, then you gain it all back, due to your sense of deprivation.. It's not a diet you want but a change of lifestyle- and WW is a good way to maintain that. You're in it for the long haul- and keeping it off is the most sexy thing.

I recently heard that they have been doing studies and the best diet is the Atkins diet because of all the protein... I also just found out that it's best if you don't eat any carbs after 3P.

Try reading Body Clutter. It helps you learn WHY, then helps you develop a plan to undo bad habits, learn new ones with baby steps. It also offers a lot of online support.

all you can do is eat healthy food!!! if you eat nothing but healthy food you will not gain as much fat and it will give you more energy to work out and burn fat. eating healthy isnt a one time thing, it is a lifetime commitment.

Smoking will be good for you instead.
I'd say : buy a pipe (like I did),
and smoke like a chimney.
But don't inhale!
