No, I think the soul means the body. He said his soul was worn out. His soul was thirsty.
The soul that is sinning it is self will die.
The first chapter of Genesis calls the fish souls.
Saying he made the souls in the water.

That's been debated since time began. If the truth is told it is Philosophy (Pythagoras and Plato) rather than Religion that is seen as having the strongest tradition of endorsing a tripartite soul view of human nature
