The way I see It, it all has to do with the beleifs and opinions of people. Take the 9/11 terrorists for instance. Muhammad, although praised as a peaceful man, was also a warlord who led various raids on merchants and Meccans back in the 600s. The Muslim isurgents probably are trying to follow in the path of Muhammad by fighting "the false religion" aka christianity, and that is why they hate us the way I see it.
Be aware, however, not all religions are bad. Infact, one of the strange things I see is that one of the only main differences between christianity, Muslim, and judaism is the god they worship, Jesus in Christianity, Allah in Muslim, and...I forget what the Judaism god is, but yeah. Otherwise, we have every siomilar beleifs, Like for instance, we all beleif the twelve apostles count as prophets, that in Judaism and Muslim, Jesus himself was still a prophet, and much more. And not all muslims are bad. Just the insurgents really...

Religion is a personal and controversial thing.People love to disagree with other people and prove they are the correct one. To many religion is offensive and many religions are exclusive. Some are extreme as are Muslims. Some are lacking proof and people cling to them because they dont want to be wrong and are willing to risk being reasonable for it..It causes a stir because people dont want to be offended. Many religions its life and death. Heaven and Hell.

Nice question but there is no clear cut reason just everyone need to express their views and sometimes they may step on another person in doing so. We should all try to respect others rights and live with them so have a nice day and remember if you disagree you may both still be correct!

Because people have the right to choose what religion they want to believe in. They have different arguements to different things. Religion, science, and politcs are 3 things that will never get along in this world.

Because Religion is traditional, man-made concepts of who God is and not the truth.
Jesus never spoke against anyone except the religious leaders and their religion who were misleading the people.

Becuase in some peoples lives its a huge part. They dont want people to screw around with something so important to them. Theres way to many different views. I like to make my point and so does everyone else.

Because it all about control. Those who have it, don't want to lose it. Those who don't, want it. Control that is. Religion is simply the most efficient tool man has developed to wiled control.
There is another group, those who succumb to it. However they are the niave ones who simply don't want you to wake them from their dream. The others don't want to lose control.
That leaves the rest of us who simply wish you would all get a grip.
