my mother in law decorated with elephants. my mom's theme is ocean. any suggestions for me? I can't come up with anything that i just love.

I never thought of it as a theme but I have botanical pics of roses and a rose arrangement in my living room. My new sofa has sort of a floral in the fabric but it's in the weave and all the same color so I guess I have a floral theme. Go figure-I"ve been a florist most of my life. I buy the Romantic Homes magazine at the grocery all the time. You just need to think about what you do and like and let it flow from there. Good Luck and God Bless

You don't need a theme. Decorate with items that you love and then it will be YOUR room and that is enough of a theme.

You can do like a cool Moroccan room. With dark Burgundy and red colors, Moroccan style furniture that is low to the ground and rustic. It will be warm and comfortable.

I've been thinking myself a chocolate and teal sort of color to me they go together real well good luck have fun. also just because they don't go together don't mean just pick colors you like .
