Its a Polaroid PDC 4055. Whenever I turn it on, it turns off automatically if i don't press any buttons. I checked the "Auto Off" setting, and its disabled. Any suggestions?

Get rid of the polaroid and get a real camera. A Cannon.

Either you insert the wrong battery rating (you need higher mAH for digital camera) or the camera is faulty

if you read down through the camera questions
someone else had a black screen on a polaroid
maybe they are having trouble with there cameras
send it in for repair
