My dog is in heat (1st time) she started spotting blood today...does anyone know how long this lasts?

I have answer this question so many time..she will stay in heat three weeks. 1 week coming ....1 week during...1 week going out. She will be in her prime around the 12th day give or take a few days..Watch her or you will be having puppies. She should be two years old before she has puppies.

Heat can last 14-21 days. 1st heat is especially nasty and smelly.

Usually about 21 days (but that depends on her).

mine was just in for her first time omg i thought it would never end but in abt 3 weeks it did just be carefull no others get to her

Female dogs do get there period so maybe it was a coincidence you should have her spaded.

3 weeks.... HAVE HER SPAYED and do not let her out of your sight for even a second,, even if you have a fenced yard....
