Well ask yourself why they would think he is a jerk. Sometimes it seems friends are just jealous of you and your bf but in reality they're just watching out for your best interest. If you can come up with reasons why he might be a jerk then you're friends are looking out for you.

Take a honest look at that, because they know you well, if they are good friends, they know what you like and don't want you to get hurt.
And, maybe he is a jerk...

Well is he? If he treats you and your friends bad he is!!! If you are at risk of losing friends for this guy make sure you feel he is worth it. But if he is a great guy and they might just be jealous of the time you and him spend together then they are real friends.

listen to your friends and see what they have to say about him. Chance's are that they are probably right. But if you like each other a lot then just go with the flow.

It puts you in a difficult situation but here is what I would do.
I would tell my friends "If you are my true friends and you love me and want me to be happy then you will accept my boyfriend,you do not have to like him but respect my feelings enough that you do not talk about him to me or in front of me."

You are going to have a hard time because eventually you will have to choose, either your friends or him. Take it slow, see how he treats you and try not to talk about him around your friends....it will all work itself out with time.

They are probably right.
Most people dont realize they should be listening more closely to what their parents say and what their best friends say.
They can see from the outside.

It does not care what your friends think about him. It is what u think about him. Well if u take this advice tell them to see me and i will talk to them if they have a problem.
