me and my love are breaking up after 2 years, so she can go back to a guy that is 4 years older than her. he is 20, no job, and didnt even graduate high school. all he does is drink, party, and cheat on her when they're a couple. Im only 17 i have a job, i buy her things just because i love her..he doesnt even buy her a birthday present. I write her poems (i dont think they're that good) but its better than insulting her right? Sigh. =( Should i start being a jerk? ... I just don't understand =( Whenever they were a couple all they did was fight, and she always came to me. I was always there for her, even though we weren't dating. When we were finally together it was perfect. =]] But now out of the blue he said he wants her back (for like the millionith time) he didnt even change a bit in those 2 years, he just aged and joined a gang.. Does that qualify him as a good guy? ... I didnt think so, but i might be wrong, i mean afterall.. he does sell drugs for money.. ='(

Not all girls like jerks but most girls who end up going out with jerks never really think they are a jerk. What ever you do, do not start being a jerk! You sound really great and your ex-girlfriend is just to blind to have seen how great you truly were for her. Don't be discouraged because so many more girls like guys who are nice rather than guys who are jerks.

If you are being a nice, compassionate, peaceful person, dont ever change. Even if its for a girl, dont ever change. I would dump her just for even wanting to go out with a guy like him. She obviously has very few morals if she wants to be around a drug selling, inconsiderate, partying, drunkard. I dont mean to insult him, but thats what he is. Try explaining to her what she is doing wrong and if she doesnt change, let her go and find someone who deserves you. I know you may love her and it will be hard, but its for the best (for both of you) if you just find someone else if she doesnt change. I wish you the best!

If she wants to go for this guy, jus stand by and watch but never say i told you so... no matter how hard it is to see her with another guy... You seem like a nice guy... but some girls are jsut that way you know???
Whatever you do dont be a jerk... just be sensitive... and ask her out... if she says no then ask why... if she says she is goin out with the other jerk say hes a jerk and al lthe things that are bad about him... she will be angry at first but she will soon realize that he is... and be a free slab of meat HAHA jokes... Not all girls love jerks! She is just stuck on him, you really can't do anything to stop her, but if you really love her still, be there for her when she needs you, and if he starts pulling her into the drugs or hits her or anything, tell her that you love her so much and you would be devestated if something happend to her, and you really want her to be happy, but the other guy is not right for her!

I think all girls need to go out with at least one jerk in their lifetime to realise what a catch they get when they meet a nice guy like you.
However, I do not understand why your girlfriend is going back to a jerk.... perhaps she needs to be treated like crap for a while to remind her how nice you are.

The guy sounds like a jerk, and frankly, if the girl likes him, it;s her wish. Don't go for a girl who doesn't like you or who might change her mind constantly.

ok, if she is going back to THAT guy, obviously she is not a girl you want to be hanging out with. if that's the kind of guy she wants in her life, then forget her. and if she's not going to appreciate the things that you do for her then she's so not worth it. i think you should just let her do whatever, and move on with YOUR life. there's other people out there. forget about ppl who can't appreciate things, and move on with your life. somewhere out there, there is a girl that would adore the things you do for her. hope this helps =]

I think you should talk to her.If she goes back to this supposedly unstable guy then she could end up hurt.Like, honestly what does she see in this guy?He sounds like he is very dangerous.Help her but don't overreact and don't base everything on opinion.Help her before something serious could happen.
