If you don't know what that means, it means do you believe the rapture will take place before, midway or after the great tribulation? Please defend your position so I know you aren't just echoing pastor's view.

Post-trib. There is nothing to suggest in the Bible that the Church won't have to go through the Great Tribulation. My school teaches pre-trib, and my church tends to lean pre-trib, but it has a lot to do with opinion, and that God favors us so much that He won't judge us. But God talks about the believer and unbelievers being "harvested" at the same time at the end of all things. Never does it say that there will be a seven year separation of Christians from non-Christians, THEN the judgment. I'm not saying it's impossible, there's just no scriptural backing for it.

I used to be pre trib, until speaking with a very mature christian who gave me lots of insight into post trib--but now I am nothing...I do not consider myself pre or post and definately not mid.
I just hope and pray the Lord comes SOON!!!!! My pastor believes in pre trib and is very secure in believing that. I can understand, from scripture why the rapture would take place before- as Revelation 3:10 says "He has not destined us for wrath"
--and then in 1 Thess 4 it says this as well....And I think about Noah, and how the Lord "spared" Him from the destruction of the world. So if it is post trib, the Lord could make all of His sheep "secure and safe" if we are to go through the Great Trib--or He could take us beforehand, which is what I used to really lean towards---I go back and forth- but to be honest, I do lean towards pre trib only because of what I have studied...but Revelations does get me thinking more about it when I come across certain scriptures.

I believe that is goes rapture - tribulation - Millennium.

In 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 talks about when Christ returns to take His church to heaven, which can be looked at as rapture of the church.

The great tribulation is talked about in Matthew 24:15-28 (also in Mark 13:14-23, Luke 17:23,24,37;21:20-24).

After Christ takes His church up to heaven, there will be a tribulation for 7 years where all good is removed from the earth and evil takes over. After this period Christ comes to reign on earth for 1000 years while satan is put in jail.

The rapture will not be secret. In fact the world has been informed that it will happen through many popular writings like the "Left Behind" series. The rapture event itself will be known to all who will witness the missing people. The "New Age" pagans have even pre-prepared explanations for the rapture in some of their writings.

I believe in the pre-tribulation rapture of the body of Christ and that the tribulation and thousand year reign are dealing primarily with the Jews. The Gentile Church will be removed before the 7 years of tribulation begins.

There is no rapture. Nobody is going anywhere until Christ returns for the second advent. At that time He will teach Gods word with a rod of iron for all the lords day. 1,000 yrs and then Satan will be loosed for a short season. AND clearly there will be no 7 yr tribulation which someone has alluded to. Revelations clearly state that satans time on earth has been shortened to five months for the sake of gods elect . Lest no flesh should survive. These things are false doctrine.

Post-trib, pre-wrath. Pre-trib is not only unbiblical, its illogical. Christ is coming back once, not twice, which would have to happen if there was a pre-trib rapture. My pastor doesn't teach the when part at all. I read the bible, and the only one that makes sense is post-trib to me. I understand wanting it to be pre-trib, I wish it would be, but it doesn't work like that. I figure if the disciples died such horrible, agonizing deaths, why do we feel we deserve better?

i'm of the pre-tribulation view. Revelation 3:10 - "because of the fact thou hast stored the be responsive to my staying power, I will additionally shop thee FROM the hour of temptation, which shall come across each and all of the international, to objective them that stay upon the earth." Jesus is speaking on the subject of the tribulation era. He does not say, i will maintain you thru area of it, or all of it, yet "from" it. additionally, as quickly as we are born back by technique of His Spirit, the Holy Spirit is residing in us. For us who've been born back to could conflict by way of area of or all the tribulation, this is the time that God's wrath is poured out on earth and its inhabitants, might advise the Holy Spirit might bear God's wrath too, and that may not achievable. people who've been born back by technique of His Spirit would be raptured, or "caught up" with the Lord formerly the tribulation starts. it particularly is what i've got self assurance. God bless you!!!
