No. Now - if it were done with just man vs. bull...no picadores, no banderillas, no espada - then it would be a fair fight.

Yeah it´s as ethical as the next thing, you know what , I´ve lived here in Spain for a while now, ok it´s a shame when they kill the bull the bit before is quite a good show. only thing is you can only fight a bull once, they can´t be re-used and so after an extremely catered for existence it dies amid the cheers of thousands instead of alone with a bullet in it´s head, or slaughtered in a meat house, millions of people do ´unethical´ things day in day out (keep fish in a tank, or birds in a cage for example) it also no less ethical than sport fishing, or game hunting, or invading another country, if we were all truly ethical think the earth would be a very wierd place

I'm certainly not a supporter of it since it just seems like a glorified way of making an animal suffer before being killed. But as to it being "ethical" I would say that many people who have what other people would consider good ethics approve of bull fighting so I would put it in the category of being between God and the people involved and not judge someone based upon their approval of bull fighting.

Bull fighting for pleasure and tormenting a life is completely unethical according to the teaching of Islam, the only one way of life ordained by the Absolute Creator (Who the One and The Only One, The Unique, The Most Glorious...) for human beings

Not at all....

When I was a child, I went to a bull fight, but it was one done for the tourists, it was like a comedy sketch - neither the 'bullocks' or bullfighters got hurt..........and everyone enjoyed it. Looking back, I cant help but wonder if once the bulls were older they were killed in the arena....I don't agree with it.

No, but then it is not a tradition of my country. I am sure there are many traditions, not only to animals, that others would find unethical, but they don't have to watch or abide by them. How many tourists go to see these traditional, unethical happenings? Curiosity a human trait. Standing by and doing nothing - another human trait. If anyone feels really strongly about something they try to do something about it, but these are few and far between.

Bullfighting may not be ethical, but it is a national and historic sport in many countries. Unless you come from that country it's not of any concern to you to decide or comment one way or the other.
