The most important things must remember to take is your passport and money or Visa card /credit card.If you left your passport in your house or somewhere misplace then that is a big problem for you in travel because a lot of documentation and procedures you need to follow up and meeting with the immigration officer.The money and visa and credit card can buy all the useful and some goods or services during the travel without its,your travel will became not funny any more!

Clothes, jewelry (unless going out of country. then keep as much with u as possible), no drinks, no anything bigger than 3.5 oz that's a liquid.
