Of course you can. Get your credit card ready and BUY another license.

But buying a disk is the only good way to get Vista. A download would be HORRIBLE.

Good luck and Happy Computing!

You can install it on as many computers, as you like. The trick, though, is that you can only use the serial number to activate it on one computer at a time. When you install Vista, you have 30 days to activate it. When it activates, it connects to the MS server and registers itself as well as checking to see if that particular serial number is in use. If it is in use by another machine, the new copy won't activate. If you don't activate Vista, it goes into reduced functionality mode. It deletes your desktop icons and your start menu and won't let you do anything but connect to MS and purchase a legal license. After an hour it shuts your computer down. It's extreme, but a necessary reaction to massive piracy.

You can purchase a second license cheaper than buying a second copy of the software. You can buy licenses through Microsoft.com or maybe your local computer retailer.

It matters on how many licenses that you bought.

A license is in short, how many computers you can download Vista onto.

For example; if you have 2 licenses, you can download Vista onto 2 computers.

Usually licenses differ in price according to which Vista type you bought. For example; another license price would differ from the Ultimate Edition compared to the basic edition.

Not legally you can't no. Plus why would you want to? It's better to leave the new version of windows for approx. 6 months so they can get all the bugs sorted out from it.
