In my openion, about 70% of all america top model contestents very ugly. with the rest only marginally acceptable, am I the only one who feel this way,
also how many guys out there like that attidue models tend to take, you know, the way they look at the camera with an expression of contempt, I find it so turning off when I see a girl who takes the attitude that she is too good for the surrounding.
what happened to shy girls ?? why we never see that attitude in all the models photo

I do agree with that very much...usually on those pics all I see is a big stamp on their forehead that says Im an egotistical witch (minus the w plus a b) thats got better things to do....basically

haha! my boyfriend says the same thing about ANTM. He hates how the girls look! But one thing that guys have to realize is that the show is for creating a "high fashion" model. If you look at a runway show, most models dont look like they could be on the cover of Victoria's Secret or the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. When most people think "model" they picture people like Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum, not these gawky bird looking girls that do "high fashion" runway

nicely, what they're searching for on that coach is a severe-trend variety, no longer a extraordinarily female. seem on the runways at present, those ladies have an somewhat unique style of attractiveness. that isn't the form of attractiveness that would allure to everybody. the females are style of unusual and awkward, slightly edgy or quirky. that's what they're searching for. So, they could no longer be what you may call extraordinarily, yet they're what the type international is calling for.

Yeah, I feel the same way, runway models are *scary*. Honestly, why would a guy want a woman who looked and acted that way....
Why do you have to look or act a certain way in order to model clothes, that chances are, nobody is going to wear.
Oh, I get it; designers are looking for walking coathangers....

some of those girls are ugly but the fashion world good amount of the time likes girls that are different looking or awkward looking.
