I cant burn Linux im not using Nero but i have something called CDBurnerXP Pro 3 it lets me create boot cd or iso
i have been trying the boot cd option but neither work when i try to run it the live cd it gives error message cant find dos. any help would be most useful. there are tabs for joliet burning, iso level 1 and level to i have never used linux before.

Most linux iso files are already bootable, so you don't need to create a bootable cd. Just burn it in iso format and put it into your cd/dvd drive & reboot.
If the problem is with your burning software then try another free cd or dvd burning program.
You could also go to Ubuntu.com & they will mail you an Ubuntu live cd (at no charge - not even shipping charges) anyway they're many ways to obtain a live cd. Go to some of the larger Linux distro sites (Redhat, Mandrake, Ubuntu, etc.) and have look around, see what each has to offer and would be most useful to you.
