1. I think it's the cross and light (in one form or another): stars, moons, suns...

2. I'm pretty sure it's a lamp (usually an oil lamp)

Not being much on religion, mine are pure guesses:

1-Circle, Star...though water and blood are very tempting

Depends on what religion you are talking about:

If it's the religion of Atheism then:

1: the upside down cross and the burning of the Christian flag

2: Persecution of Christians

3: "We have a set of beliefs and a doctrine and a cause but we deny that we are a religion."
