I'm 22 and I have two babies. I would like to move on from their father, which is not hard.
I've made our relationship to where we can be friends and he gives the kids money and things they need and he visits them when he wants.
Only problem is, I don't know if I will be able to move on. Do men see a future in women who are young and have kids?

For the smart mouth comments. He cheated on me! That's why it is this way. I was a good fiance and am a good mother. I will not stay with a man who treats me bad for the kids sake. Because they will be better off seeing me happy and not sad! Thank You.

Hey give yourself some credit and dont thinl negative towards your situation. There are men out there who will not even consider dating women who have children already.... this is a little bit narrow minded but at the same time their personal choice. On the other hand there are men that do not mind at all and will see you and your children as one whole package deal. Never let your children become an obstacle to you wanting to start over agian. You could always start going out to places where there are single parents...you never know what could happen and whom you may meet.

Yes there is a future. I had two babies at the age of 22 and their father left and guess what later I met a man who likes kids and me and we got married. We have been married and we have been married 20 years. Oh there are ups and downs but there are men who will date woman with babies.
Usually the guys who act like kids themselves lol.

Sure...having children makes things more difficult but I'd date someone with children. You will find many open men who will accept you for who you are, just take your time because the worst thing you could do is jump right into a full relationship after just breaking up...it can be hard to be on your own, but you need to feel that independence before settling down again. Guy will like you for your personality and having children won't matter to most of them, and the ones that have a problem with it aren't worth your time anyways :)

I had a son out of wedlock and met my first husband when my son was four, my son is now going on 13. We have been together for 9 years and happily married for 2.
Yes, there are men who are single and love children, they will make them their own, even if they didn't start out that way.

this is from a guy it depends on the guy if he loves you if it was me I would treat them as my own let their father see them never bad mouth him a father is better to know his kids as they are his life & may be 1 day the kids may ask you if thay can go stay with him so the more contact thay have the better for you both

mos deff. the kids come numero uno. but for me personally, i haave dated a woman who had children by another guy, and i don't have a problem with it at all. i don't think most of us guys do either. however, i will advise on one thing. i see a lot of young, single mothers who will flirt with a guy while shoving their child literally under his nose looking for a baby's daddy. if you do that, we will run! that is a sign of insecurity that we sense immediately. good luck to you.

No I dont think so as long as you dont try to make them the new fathers in the childrens life. That might scare them off. Most women now a days have children so men just have to deal with that fact whether they like it or not. Most important thing is to put your kids first before any man in their life. no matter what.

WHY did you make two babies with a man you now want to leave?
Do you realize you are going to screw up your kids' lives? Sheesh.
Make it work till your kids are 18 or if it's an abusive situation, no dating till your kids are 18 because they won't need any more drama.
Licenses for children should be made mandatory!!

id date a woman with kids, my stepfather, who i consider to be my real father got with my mom when i was about a year old and she was a single mother with 4 kids and on welfare, cuz of him she was able to go back to school and become a teacher

I actually married a single parent and dated several. So, I suppose some of us see a future in it.
