We seem to die because Adam and Eve ruined it for us with their actions. How extremely overpopulated would this planet be today if we all lived eternally on earth, like God obviously planned according to the Bible?

When I used to be christian i had a theory for this (i don't believe it anymore but...)

I thought God created the universe with many inhabitable planets. Once the earth started to get too over populated a large percentage would be moved to another planet. Since there would be no death we would need an infinite space to populate.

again. I don't believe this anymore

First you have to realize that Earth before the flood was considerably different than Earth today. MUCH more of the surface was land, so it would be able to support many more people than it can support today. You also need to take into account what a small amount of today's surface is inhabitable. In the beginning, it was all inhabitable.

As to the constant population growth, no one can answer that with any level of true knowing, but my guess is that the urge to continue to reproduce would lessen as the world becomes more full. Another thought is that God didn't intend for us to live forever on the Earth. However, we wouldn't die. He would simply say, "Adam, it's time for you to be with Me." I don't think that God would deny Adam and Eve the benefit of going to heaven. They just wouldn't need to die to get there.

Because we are humans also, I doubt if any one of us wouldn't have screwed up also if we'd been the first two on this earth, so don't blame Adam and Eve. IF sin wouldn't have entered the world, we all would live like we're going to live during the 1000 yr Millenium after this age, when Jesus reigns on this renewed earth with us christians. A perfect earth with no demons to tempt us to sin (satan is cast into hell for 1000 yrs). But because of man's sin, we deserve death and all of creation mourns until Jesus returns (biblical). But God sent His Son to redeem us so we can live in a perfect world again -- paradise will be upon the earth once again!!

We would be all perfect beings living in paradise conditions without the influence of all of The Devil's snares to disobey the Creators will and purpose. every aspect of our lives would be beautiful and joyous, as God intended. Jesus provides that hope for us today in the eventual joining his Kingdom here on earth after the conclusion of this wicked system. Some will have the privilege to step over into this new world here on earth and those who died before hand have the hope of being resurrected by Christ to live under same conditions. Study the Bible accurately and learn and build your faith to this eventuality with or without you.

well, that whole forbidden fruit thing is what brought on all feelings of good and evil. before that, adam and eve were innocent like children. innocent children don't have sex, so there would have been no offspring. if they hadn't gotten into god's secret stash, they would have been boring (no good or evil) and childless forever.

ps. what the crap are you talking about? since when is this planet NOT overpopulated?

Earth would be Just Like Planet Heaven.
And the Universe would be Waiting for Us to Populate it.
And, there wouldn't be all of This Junk (meteors) flying around Crashing into Everything either.
Ditto.................

I don't think Adam and Eve would have lived eternally, unless they ate the fruit of life. I'm pretty sure "death" referred to spiritual death (sin, separation from God).

and we'd be same intelligence, no corruption. Disobeying only opened their eyes to morality.

Things would of been diffrent. If Adam and Eve did not mess up, it would probably be heaven on earth. I don't think we would be over populated because people probably wouldn't of been having casual sex.

It would be exactly the same as if Frodo screwed up in Lord of the Rings.

Fiction has no impact on reality.
