By ignoring the media and seeking truth you need to develop the left side of your brain education tries to destroy. Free thinking improves intellect memory is just that and no relevance to thinking many people store all kinds of lies as truth. So develop your logic and reason then learn memory boosting techniques that way what you store as fact will have evidence and more likely be the truth. Look into brainwashing you will then be able to block it. Ps Reading is an example of right side brain activity you need to develop left or you will keep your mind in a permanent state of infancy.

Try education. Won't improve your intelligence but will increase your knowledge and improve your memory. Until old age reverses the process.

read, do puzzles, crosswords, word searches, brain teasers, sudoku,.... any logic thinking stuff......
