My parents want to decorate our dining room in a yellow wood and a dark wood! They are so ugly and I've tried telling them that it looks awful! They won't listen. How can I get them to change there minds!!!

It's their house, let them do what they want with it. When you have a house decorate it as you please.

take a picture of the two woods and put them together? Bring a family friend or someone over and get them to say "EWwwww" so that they feel embarassed and don't do it? I am unsure but burrowing into their minds is always a good start XD

Give it a chance and see what it turns out to be. If it looks awful as you said it would be then its your parents mistake and you will be able to prove them wrong.

call an interior decorator and ask how much it would cost just to come out and give their opinion of it,
