Why didn't they get some welders to make some wood stoves.
Also some kettles to make stilles. You can purify water by putting it through copper tubes into another kettle. That's how they make corn liquor. But it also would make water drinkable after a nuclear diaster? I mean why couldn't they burn wood to keep warm? What do you think you would do after a nuclear diaster?

Many years ago went to a school on that subject . That was a school I went to ,about 3 months. Very disappointed as the major answer was to be some where else. If it happens u got part of it right no sense in giving up,just help who u can. It will be bad.
