When someone is fake & people find out that what they thought they knew about you was a lie, they begin to question any & everything about you. Any promises made will become void, any story you told will be taken as false. Then your entire image is tainted & no one will believe you again. "Boy who cried wolf" kinda scenario. Just be real, be honest with yourself most of all & people will either like you or hate you. It's just the way of life.

you should never change who you are for someone because then they like the fake you not the real you. ALWAYS be true to yourself. "be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind dont matter, and those who matter dont mind." -dr. suess live by that quote.

usually 'who we are' needs to be improved. nobody in this world has to take you for who you are. i have seen people who wouldn't change who they were for anybody and then grew old and died alone. So find out how you can improve yourself, have high standards, then you will attract the same type of person.

i don't get why you try to be someone you're not, if it's to impress someone you like, the real you will just come out eventually and they will know you were lying to them. If you have to be somebody you're notto be with them, they're not worth it in my opinion.
who knows, they might like you if you just try and be yourself.
