yes very much so you can scaled your self. if you do this u should run your scalded body part under cool water never cold because that will make it worse.

Yes you can. That is why if you have small children in the house, you should not have your hot water heater temperature set for too hot.
If you should burn your skin, immediately run cool water over it and take a tylenol, aspirin or ibuprofen to stop the inflammation.

You absolutely can! Please run the burned part under cool (Not cold as it can burn the skin even worse) water and place a sterile bandage over it. And do Not put butter or margerine over the burn as that can make it worse too. Contact your dr. especially if you notice any blistering or severe burns as untreated burns can lead to very serious infection. Feel better soon!
