Gently stretch your legs and try massaging your legs with a kneading-type action. this will help work some of the lactic acid out of your muscles. I use a massage stick (The Stick) after long training runs (2+ hours) and it works really well. For tomorrow, I'd just try using your hands to massage the sore spots....drink plenty of water, too. See the link below for some more tips. Good luck!

You should ice it. Put ice on it, or soak it in an ice bath for 20-30 minutes. Then switch to a hot pad. After the muscle is hot, stretch. Continue through about 4 cycles and it will feel much better.

sorry one day isn't gonna do anything if you pulled a muscle, If you pulled it especially a hamstring/quad or calf you wouldn't be walking, never the less thinking of running on it the next day.
You are sore because you muscle endurance isn't up especially if you just started back, lots of lactic acid build up, you didn't warm up and stretch good enough and didn't cool down. Think of RICE. Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation
Include in there stretching and time.

There's no way to recuperate a muscle pull overnight. It simply can't be done. Tell your coach you need to rest it.... OTHERWISE, you will be on the list of people who might have been great, but did permanent damage before their prime.
Good Luck

Fill your tub with Icewater & soak you legs for as long as you can stand it . Then take a hot shower & Stretch gently
you can wrap it to train but if the pain continues tell your coach
Good luck

well, what you need to do is tell your coach that you were busy "practicing" for practice.
note: it worked for me
