Take an interest in the things that he likes, other than sex.
Don't not do what the girl suggests above. That will only frustrate him and make him angry, showing that you don't like him instead.

you dont need to have sex with a guy to show that u kike him, sex comes into a relationship when both people are secure and want to make a deeper connection, and with sex comes emotional attachments so asuming you are with a guy but dont want to have sex yet wait untill it feels right for you, dont rush yourself
to answer your question the smallest things can show another person how much you care for them, like tkaing him to his favouriete place, or making a oicnic for just the two of you, hugging telling them you love them(only if you mean it ofcourse) buying a gift, or simply just a few kind words to let them know how special they are to you.

Body Language is all key here.
When you talk to him keep eye contact let him know you are interested in what he has to say. Also when you sit down together remember palms up and open toward him, lean in a little bit when your facing him, slowly start to get closer to him. Make simple little touches on his shoulders, hair and arms. I would suggest googleing Body Language, you will find helpful little tips about what body language most girls give when they like a guy or not.

We show guys we care about them by being ouselves. It's in the little things that we do. You show someone you care for them by talking to them and trusting them. It comes in forms such as talking to them every day to cooking dinner for them. Sex? If you're not ready than don't do it. Cuddling or kissing is good if that's what you are comfortable doing.
