Okay, I must address the fact that a Zinfandel and a White Zinfandel are 2 different things. A Zinfandel is a fabuluous red wine with amazing flavour, and a WhiteZzinfandel is a rose wine which is typically made from the leftovers of white and red grapes.

To answer your question, I tried Barefoot Zinfandel and loved it! I would highly suggest their vineyard.

You know in France we don't call wines by their grape but instead by the region in which they are grown.

Zinfandel is not much as far as wine goes. If you want a really good wine at an inexpensive price try Australian wines. There is a very good one called Long Flat Red by Tyrrell's that will knock the sock of your Zinfandel at half of your proposed price.
