Good point.
The Democrats are doing the same thing to our soldiers in Iraq, that they did to our soldiers in Nam.

I never have believed you, and I never have trusted you.
BUT, I remember you predicting that we would "cut and run" from our troops.
And that was months ago.

Now for the record I am a democrat. But i do not agree to the "cut and run" idea from Iraq. I think the Bush administration has dug a hole too deep to get out of, now we just have to figure out how to climb out. If we leave now iraq WILL have a civil war and most likely the terorists are going to win. and thats bad. But if we stay more troops die. I think the best way to resolve this is to eliminate the terorists with the power I know America is capable of.

How many decades do you think US troops should be given the job of policing a civil war? When is it not "cutting and running" to pull out of a situation where there is no clear objective, and no clear means of achieving that objective?

The term "cut and run" is meaningless, since it apparently describes anything less than staying in Iraq forever.

Congress authorizes military expenditures, and authorizes the use of military force overseas. In the last election, a significant majority of Congressional seats changed because the US populace as a whole no longer approves of US intervention in the Iraq civil war.

So, why is Congress going to set limits on overseas deployment and funding? Because that's their job, and because that's what their constituents (the people) told them to do.

Because democrats, liberals, are P U S S I E S. they don't have the courage to see things through to fruition. Even if we leave Iraq, it won't be long until we have to go back there and un- f u c k the mess left from leaving.

Speaking of Vietnam, everybody seems to forget it was the dumbocrats that helped America get sucked into that war too. So before you jump on the Republicans for Iraq take a look at your own party.

The Libs, (JFK) got us into VietNam, then bailed out on us, so they caused us to lose. They will do the same thing again. Once the elections are over, count on the Surrender to take effect, unless the republicans retain the presidency...

We are going to "cut & run" from Iraq because it's the thing we should've done years ago. We could've stayed in Vietnam another 20 years and wouldn't have "won". Look how that country is doing now and what our relations are. It's time to quit labeling and do something positive. Don't you agree?????????????????????
