I have a 1993 Ford Taurus that I got from an insurance settlement after wrecking my 1996 Ford Mustang. I kept the stock CD player from the Mustang and I am wondering whether I can put the CD player into the Taurus. If I can, I would like to know how to install it. Any advice would be great!

I absolutely hate fords, but listen up anyways. You can go to best buy and buy the harness that fits the ford factory female plug, and then plugs into the back of your new deck. I have tried cutting the wires on the factory installation and trust me that will be the worse thing you ever do. Just buy the converter from best buys install department and then install it yourself. Once you connect the conversion harness it's just a matter of screwing the new deck back in and popping your molding back on.

This installation is going to be more suitable compicated than maximum. What you want a million. sprint kit (that year taurus intigrates the elements controls and the radio and it comes with a harness. you'll want a contact kit. They run about $80 yet I wager you are able to get one genuine low priced off the web. 2. Ford radio keys (again a must have, different smart you is only no longer able to get your radio out) to start up take keys and insert in to the 4 holes contained in the sprint until eventually they click. Then pull keys out to the perimeters then out from the sprint radio could slide out. then you definately favor to take the black plug and the antenna on the harness and plug it in to the tuner field contained in the left aspect of the trunk. Run the wires up tho the sprint. Then cord to the harness presented along with your new radio. Now you want to take the manufacturing facility climate administration knobs of the radio you pulled out and position then on the hot sprint kit. ( pull off the knobs then turn over and take the screws out. Then transplant to sprint kit) Now placed the radio cage in to the sprint kit. Bend the tabs so its tight. Slide the radio in. finally slide the sprint kit in to the vehicle( do not for get to plug each little thing again in)
