I found a bag under my daughter's bed that the ants got to...I have not purchased twizzlers since last year....(what does that tell you about my house keeping fenness?) They were in pretty rough shape....pretty damp where we live and they were gummy....suppose if yours were stored properly...they would keep till the next ice age...

They are sugar based and teh chemicals in them are to keep them soft longer but they will not go bad as in they will be any worse for you than the day you bought them. Try cutting off the ends and make some sraws if they are dried out. If they are moist just eat and if they are inbetween put them in the microwave for a few seconds

They become stale. Eat at your own risk. If it's been in your drawer for more then a month, then it is up to your best judgement whether or not you can eat them. I believe their shelf life is a few months or so, but don't take my word for it.

I think so. They get hard as a rock - not fresh at all. I just throw them away

Only if they have bad parents. Are you a nurturing and loving parent? Have they shown any signs of delinquency?
