Okay, so 2 boys asked me to prom. The first one is my x-boyfriend and the other is a boy that i have gotten really close to. Well my x knows how to have fun and we party together all the time... but then the other boy is like sweet and he will care about me at prom... my x will probably be wasted before we even get to prom. who should i go with... go for the fun with my x or go with my guy friend who doesnt know how to have that much fun?

Well, your ex is an ex for a reason. And you're not going to really know if the new guy knows how to have fun or not unless you give him a try. Maybe he will surprise you. So go with the new guy. Being drunk is not the only way to have fun, you know. Plus, if he really is lame, you can ditch him at the afterparty, where all the real fun happens anyway. :)

I would go with the new guy. If he is your ex then there is probably some reason why you guys are not together anymore. And, I really hope that you don't think that you need a drunken boy to have fun at prom. You really should go to prom with a sweet and caring guy who will make you feel like a princess!!

Your ex is an ex for a reason. Why wouldn't you want to go with the guy who will treat you right? What is your definition of fun? I bet the new guy is plenty of fun. How would you know if you've never gone out with him? It's a bit early for you to judge.
I really don't think your ex-boyfriend is any fun, considering all he does is get so wasted that he probably won't even make it to the prom. Newsflash: underage drinking does not = "fun".

Okay, let's rephrase your question for the end of the night. Do you want to take care of someone or you want to be taken care of at the end of the night? It seems to me you really don't care about any of those two boys. Having fun without knowing how much to drink has consequences. Your pick. Just have fun and make it a memorable night.

How about neither! Stay home and do something nice for your parents. Quit thinking of you. If you go to your prom, You will end up getting in some sort of trouble. You already admitted to having friends that get "wasted". Grow up and start being responsible. Make your parents proud of you.

I say go with your guy friend cause he seems like he would more considerate and charming. Your ex-boy is a Loser because getting drunk before even getting to prom is so messed up. I think you'll have a better time with your friend.

I say just go with your heart. Just ask yourself why do I want to go with my X, if he broke heart one time he may do it again. But on the other hand my new guy friend is sweet, handsome, and knows how to treat a young lady.
Now back on your X. If he already broke your heart once and all of a sudden he wants to get back with you, I think that he only wants 1 thing and that is to get between your legs.

This is a no brainer. Your ex is "ex" because of why? You know, and that is why he is your ex. Go with the new young man as he sounds really great. You can have fun with him if you try. Drinking is not necessary to have fun, and especially if you are underage.

you should go with your guy friend because you know he will take care of you and not go with some other girl wile he is wasted. and who knows maybe the quiet guy may be really party-like at the prom.
