I am about 5'7", 14 and weigh about 130lbs. I recently lost over 60 lbs but along with the fat came the muscle. I joined track and am doing shot put. I am reltively strong b/c i have been doing my bowflex 4 about a year now. But people still laugh at the fact tht im the skinniest person on the team. Can some help me gain muscle and lean body mass? Diet and exercises would be nice

well you have to upplement your workout, you need more more more protien, (fish, chicken, turkey, beef, pork) you metabolism is still very rapid so i think you dont need to worry too much about getting fat again, but still try to go for the leaner meats. you have to also get a good exercise plan, life weights (or bowflex) to your maximum output, basically work out your arms till they're , rest one day (this is very important, youo need to rest your muscles or else it may break down if you work out everyday) drink or eat protien no later than 30 minutes after your workout.

Offhand, 5'7 and 130 doesn't sound bad for a 14 year old. You should be proud of yourslef if you actually managed to lose 60 pounds to get to that weight..

Don't let the laughers get to you. It's better to be a little underweight than to be carrying all those extra pounds you used to drag around.

Keep up the bowflex and do your best to eat a healthy diet... vegetables, fruit, whole grains... if you're working out consistently, make sure consume enough calories to stay ahead of the amount you're burning. And be sure to get a good amount of protien... maybe a gram per pound of bodyweight per day.

And don't forget lots of water --- and sleep to give your body a chance to recover.

the bowfelx bulked me up a bit man wut model ya using? and try weights too...

also u just descrived my body but i am kinda wide

also you need to eat protein...

OH I FIGURED IT OUT !!!! YOU ARE ON TRACK THATS WHY!!!!

you are running so much you burning all ur muscle too... first ya gotta stop and that build muscle and then start track over... just wait till schools over and then dont run out anymore during the summer unless for football or sometihng like that cuz that what i be doing

i do all the exercise listed under bodybuilding in the bowfglex manual BTW
