no i love it!!!!!!!!! its soooooooooooo tasty and lush lovely on toast with loads of butter, but mix some with hot water and have as a hot drink thats nice too. to spruce up your gravy put some marmite in................ i also like to eat it straight from the jar..............

I love Marmite on buttered toast. The reason why some people hate it is because when they first tried it, they used too much; you only need a tiny scraping of it. The advantage of this is a jar lasts for ages. If you ate a spoon of it, your tongue would shrink into a raisin from the osmosis effect. Use it sparingly. Oh, a bit of nerdish information, a marmite (pronounced marmeet) is the name of a French cooking pot, hence the shape of the jar.

I adore Marmite.

Yeah, used to be good until nanny stopped them putting salt in it. If you are under 40 you won't know! Was brilliant as you say, not so good now.
