my manager at work and another coworker bowl on Thursday nights on a league. There is a gal that bowls with one of my coworkers who is single and my boss has been telling her that 'you should meet this guy'... He seems to think that we would be a good match.

anyway, I was invited up to the bowling alley tonight to join them for a few beers. ...and to maybe meet this woman..

My question is, if I go up there - how should I act? Obviously I'm going up there to see my boss and have a drink, but how do I act once I'm there?

I guess I'm really nervous... consider the setting.. I'll be with my boss for one, then some other peers within my company... Then, I'll be also there to have an indirect introduction to a woman that he's beed telling her about me...

Maybe that is a good scenarios, but lately the people who people think I should meet have been less than desireable... So, what if I meet her and I'm not interested and worse yet, what if she is disappointed in me!?? HELP!

Go and have a good time, meet the girl and see what happens. If you like her and you think she likes you, then secretly tell her that you would like to see her in another setting. It's not your boss' business or anyone else for that matter if you start dating this girl. Don't be nervous and just let the "pins fall" where they may (ok, yes that was stupid) but you get my point? You may just find a great friend! Don't pass up the opportunity! Good luck!

Just be yourself.
If there's a chemisty between the two of you then great!! if not......... then hey, it's not the end of the world right? Just enjoy a couple of bevvies and head home. There's no point in getting your knickers in a knot, just go with the flow.
