I've been dating my boyfriend for about 5 1/2 months, and I really want to say I love you. He hasn't said it yet, and I'm worried it might be too soon. I'm also fearful that if I say it, it will scare him off.
Any thoughts?

well 5 1/2 months is kind of solid and if you see yourself with this guy for another year or even more, and if thats how you feel than go for it...if you think it will scare him off than your already thinking he doesn't love you, and he might be thinking of the perfect moment to say it, give it a little time, and see how your relationship goes, if you see it growing and still feel the same way, let him know, thats what a relationship is all about, sharing and communicating...and if he doesn't love you than he's not worth it

How old are you?
It sounds like ur way too young to be worried about love. Anyway people normally wait til the 6th month to say that

Understand it for what it is, just words.... Think about mute people, they never get to utter the words. As long as he's showing it, leave the subject alone. Never speak those nasty words until they are spoken to you first.

If you truly do love him, then tell him!! It doesn't really matter what he says, as long as you get it off of your chest and tell him your feelings! Good luck!!

i think you can tell him now my b/f told me on the 5th day and at fist it kind of scared me off but i stayed in there and we are doing fine

there's no time frame on love. If you feel it, say it. Make sure you really feel it though.

if you feel comfortable with him and you truly love him then let him know how you feel. there is no point in waiting.
