I have seen the military housing privatized and it was AWFUL. The private sector doesn't work with an operational rank structure in place.

That's a bunch of nonsense. A veteran can get healthcare from the private sector any time he wants, he just has to pay for it. Sounds like what is really at work is privatizing Veterans health care so that the government no longer provides it. If I was a vet I'd worry.

Very good idea, the military docs are good, but the money, and thus the talent, is in the private sector.

The republican point of view is that EVERYTHING should be in the private sector so that THEY could make a profit by gouging the public yet again.
