Wind is air in motion. What causes air to move?
Large quantities of air in a particular part of the world can get warmer than the air in other parts of the world.Maybe because of more sunshine, proximity to bodies of water(that's a whole other story!),or pollution,or whatever. The warmer air expands and rises. When this happens it leaves an "empty" space. The cooler air next to that area is denser, and therefor has a higher pressure. It moves into the "empty" space that the warmer air has just left.
That,in a nut shell,is wind.

Warm and cold air create wind. When you put warm air and cold air together, it creates movement.

The warmer or more colder the air is, it creates stronger wind.
