Polls show that 80% of the people in America say they are Christian. However, they also say that 50% of those believe they are Christians because they live in America. What does this mean? Well, very simply that most people in America don't think with their heads, and have no idea about any type of religion, let alone Christianity.

Christians don't make up 80% of our country, I'd say Christians, at the most liberal realistic figure, probably make up about 10% of our country.

By definition, there may be a percentage that CALLS themselves Christians... however... the reality might be quite different. I can't imagine too many TRUE Christians labelling a third world country as "stupid" based on such narrow views either... I mean, it shows ignorance of politics vs. reality and so much more I can't even BEGIN to tear this one apart. I found that question, of his, to be sooooo arrogant.

You can't intelligently challenge statistical facts anymore than you can generalize that any group religious or not is responsible for the suffering in this world

From what I'm seeing it's not a whole lot of positivity coming from Christianity.

well, over 70% of the people on earth reject the bible and christianity for the nonsense that it is.

i don't care how many people here in the US fall for that cult nonsense. there are a lot of "not too bright" people in the U.S. -- proof? they elected Dumbya Bush...TWICE.
