QUICK AND EASY APPETIZERS

1. Spread thin ham slices with Philadelphia brand whipped cream cheese. Roll up and chill. Cut into 1 1/4 inch pieces.
2. Spread thin slices of French bread with soft butter. Top with shredded Mozzarella cheese. Heat at 350 degrees until cheese melts.

3. Serve melon balls, pineapple chunks and apple wedges as dippers with Kraft Bleu Cheese sour cream dip.

4. Simmer cocktail sausages, ham or luncheon meat cubes in Kraft barbecue sauce. Keep warm in chafing dish or over a warmer.

5. Stuff large mushroom caps with Philadelphia Brand whipped cream cheese blended with bacon and horseradish, chives or onions.

RANCH PRETZELS (APPETIZERS)

1 bag broken up pretzels
1 pkg. Ranch style dressing (dry)
1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
1/2 tsp. dill weed
1/2 tsp. garlic powder or salt
1 c. oil

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Break pretzels in bite size pieces and put in 9 x 13 inch cake pan. Mix oil, Ranch pack, dill weed, lemon pepper, and garlic together in small bowl. Pour over pretzels and mix up and put in oven for 15-20 minutes. Stir about three times while baking. Let cool.

BACON TOMATO MINI APPETIZERS

1 (10 oz.) can refrigerated flaky biscuits
5 to 6 slices bacon or bacon bits
1 tomato
1/2 c. mayonnaise
2 oz. (1/2 c.) Swiss cheese
1 tsp. dried basil leaves

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Separate each biscuit into 2 or 3 thinner biscuits each. Lay each biscuit over top of mini-muffin cup. Using the mini tart shaper press each biscuit into cup. Chop bacon and sprinkle several bacon pieces to each cup. Coarsely chop tomato with food chopper and add several pieces to each cup. (If tomato is very juicy, drain on paper towel first.) Finely chop onion with food chopper and mix with mayonnaise, cheese and basil. Using the small stainless steel scoop, mound a small amount of cheese mixture on top of tomato in cups. Sprinkle a few more bacon pieces on top of cheese and bake 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown. Makes 20 to 30 appetizers. Serve warm but can be reheated in microwave. Delicious!

Put some grated cheese or cheese slices over tortillas in a microwave safe bowl and nuke it for about 40 seconds. Add salsa or beans or whatever if you like more stuff on it.
Make sandwiches and cut them into strips.
Anything you can eat plain like pickles or olives can be drained and put out with forks or toothpicks.
There's a ton of instant food at the grocery store now. Look in the freezer. They have heat and serve appetizers of all kinds. Egg rolls, taquitos, you name it.

Bread and dipping season is both tasty and easy. You can buy the dried dipping season and add your own olive oil, or buy it premixed. Use a good fresh Italian bread.
