I just saw some movie called The Matrix, if you have seen this do you think it could be real?

Good thing catching that flick. I was actually just reading up on the possibilities of alternative realities- its weird to think about. (Check out the Truman show as well) concepts such as Deja Vu are the most fascinating to examine because some explain this as a glitch in our reality's computer/system. It's interesting to continue to analyze the possbility of a whole other concept of reality we've never thought about- there are so many unexplained and unusual aspects of life- it's mindblwoing. In regards to be mindblowing- some people believe that having a seizure is an occurance when a person is about to have a great revelation about the world/reality, but their brain freaks out- interesting...

--There is very little that comes out of Hollywood that not only is not real but also not true. "The DaVinci Code" ---is a major lie about Christ and you will indeed see much more on religion that twists things in the Bible.

--Be careful of what is labeled as popular does not bite(popularity bug) you, because indeed hollywood has its own religion(BASED ON)a "showy display of ones means of life" and its many false idols & gods.----

(1 John 2:15-17) “15 Do not be loving either the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him; 16 because everything in the world—the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one’s means of life—does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world. 17 Furthermore, the world is passing away and so is its desire, but he that does the will of God remains forever.”

--Why not look at the special effects on this marvelous earth that God has made and are real for us to get to know him better and really have something to talk about as the Bible says here:

(Job 12:7-9) “ 7 However, ask, please, the domestic animals, and they will instruct you; Also the winged creatures of the heavens, and they will tell you.  8 Or show your concern to the earth, and it will instruct you; And the fishes of the sea will declare it to you.  9 Who among all these does not well know That the hand of Jehovah itself has done this,”

--Think about the 7 days of creation that lasted about 50,000 years before we have as the finished product with all its fx, this earth! (Genesis 1.)

--What about the ten plagues of dynamic proportions that Jehovah brought upon the gods of Egypt? Also the pillar of fire he protected the Isralites with as they marched toward the Red Sea(over 1 million of them) and later crossed while Pharoah and his Army were wiped out! (Exodus 9-15)

--Just a short reference to how God did it with his great energy source, the view of the stars is here described:

(Isaiah 40:26) “26 “Raise YOUR eyes high up and see. Who has created these things? It is the One who is bringing forth the army of them even by number, all of whom he calls even by name. Due to the abundance of dynamic energy, he also being vigorous in power, not one [of them] is missing.”

--The Bible describes the incredible things that are real and major things that have happened and that will happen in the future! ---Like God's war of Armaggedon that will indeed have survivors, once he intervenes with his real powerful forces & special affects that the survivors of armaggedon will not easliy forget.(Rev. 16;14,16) All this in line with Jesus recommended prayer. "....thy Kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven......"

--Check your Bible and use your imagination, on the truths it contains--it is an exciting experience! Enjoy the truths you will find, they are spectacular!

I enjoyed the Matrix, but it has things exactly backwards. The physical world that we live in is real - it's the concepts in our heads that are merely an illusion.

In the movie they discover that the physical world is just illusion and that once freed of the physical world they can do all sorts of magical things. But they still have war, and jealousy, and suspicion, and notions about deities and ignorance and all of that. In fact all of those notions are mere human constructions. We live in a real physical world consisting of trees and cars and roads and air and the sun and all of that, and we can't jump fifty feet and stop in midair.

But we could end war and jealousy and suspicion and deities and so on - those things only exist because we insist that they do.

It is real but in a different way. Instead of being controlled by machines, we are controlled by religion and it's keeping us blinded from the real truth.

possible, maybe a longshot. but alas, it is imaginary, like the cult/christian stuff talked about here from time to time.

but ----- it made hundreds of millions of dollars. it does have THAT in common with christian cult churches and other cult groups.
