I know what respect is but what does it mean to really respect someone?

You treat them like you want to be treated. You give them courtesy where is should be given, and you understand what they are saying, but you don't have to agree with it.

people have to earn respect from others by doing the things in life that society says your supposed to be doing, you know right from wrong,good from bad,so use that in life and you will earn respect from others, i don't always do the right thing (I CUSS, ) but i know when not to,and i am respected by my family and friends.
