well its your mom...if my mom breath is smelling bad..i will tell her. I don't think that would affect her..considering we have that kind of relationship. If my breath was smelly, i would prefer my mom tell me, than a stranger.

It's always tough to tell anyone that they have bad breath or body odor or whatever.
Simply take her aside and have a package of mints/gum/breath strips/ as a gift and just say Mom you know I love you & the last thing I want to do is hurt your feelings, but as this is so personal, I am sure you would take it from me better than anyone else. When we talk, sometimes I notice your breath is just a wee bit strong & I know you take great care of your mouth. It's probably hereditary(laugh a little) cause some of my friends have told me the same thing & was I glad they did. I am sure like me, you wouldn't want to walk around with bad breathe either! Offer her some freshner & take some yourself & offer to have her keep the rest of it. Good Luck!

you know if my breath smelled terrible I would thank my kids for letting me know (mother of a 22 and 26 year old)
