It can if you are slamming weights into yourself. Otherwise, it means something is wrong with you. See a doctor.

You know....I asked that same question on here about a month ago. After starting an exercise plan I began getting bruises on my legs. Very large and painful ones. I think that the strenous cardio work, combined with weight lifting with my legs cause my blood vessels to burst in some spots. You may want to check with your doctor on your next check-up, or try doing a little less exercising on the parts that are bruising and see if you notice a difference.

it depends on the exercise. Even though I usually go with, "No pain, no gain", its not good to hurt yourself that much to exercise. If ur getting bruises try other forms of exercise, like dance( a real popularizer), or swimming or playing tennis or something. I exercize on a treadmill and used to get bruises on my feet for walking so hard and fast, so i just wore sneakers. Maybe thats a better suggestion, lol

IWell it depend on the exercise, where you doing an exercise that was phsically demanding and required physical contact? Like football? If its push ups, situp, running, etc, you should not be bruised.. However, your muscles can hurt from splitting in half ( dont worry this is what makes you stronger) which is done to produce stronger muscle.

Only if you either banging into something when your exercising or you are exercising so powerfully that your tearing your tiny blood vessels, which isnt that likely.
You might also be very low in some vitamins and minerals due to a poor diet or your body just doesnt absorb them well enough that stop brusies happening so easily, try taking:
Vitamin C, E, K and Zinc.

Yes, but it's rare, and any major brusing is usually caused by a torn muscle or connecting fibers.

I occasionally get bruises after my should/trap workouts.

It depends where they are. I used to get bruises on my knees that I think were caused by use of a rowing machine.

yes, if you are constantly applying pressure to the same area, like if you have loose shoes and keep stopping suddenly, then you can get bruises on your toes.
